We didn’t want to make more activewear.
We wanted to change what it meant.

AHVA means love. Not the kind you have to earn — the kind you start from.

That's where this began: activewear made from that place, for however you move through your day. Not just the hour you train. The whole day around it.

We started AHVA in Adelaide out of a simple frustration — activewear that looked good on a hanger and felt like plastic on skin. Fabric that fought your body instead of moving with it. So we went looking for something better: closed-loop lyocell bamboo, OEKO-TEX® certified, FSC-sourced, soft enough to forget you're wearing it. Then we built clothes around it that don't ask you to compromise between how something feels and how it looks.

AHVA is activewear, reconsidered — for the ones who move differently. Softness with strength. Presence with power. Clothes that work with the body instead of against it.

Meet the Founder

I’m Tanya — founder of AHVA, reformer Pilates head trainer, mum of two girlies, and someone who has spent a lot of her life in activewear.

AHVA really began when I started questioning something I’d never really thought twice about before: what was actually sitting against my skin for hours every day?

I couldn’t find activewear that gave me everything I wanted — beautiful design, genuine performance and materials I felt good about wearing. So, from our home in Adelaide, my husband and I started building it.

There were no investors or big team behind the scenes. Just a belief that activewear could be considered differently — and a lot of testing, learning and starting again until it felt right.

AHVA is still at the beginning. And if you’re here now, you’re part of that beginning too.
