1. What makes AHVA different from other activewear brands?
AHVA was created to offer a more considered alternative to conventional synthetic activewear. Our signature fabric is made from 79% bamboo lyocell and 21% spandex, giving you more plant-derived fibre, while keeping the stretch, support and performance you expect from activewear.
Our fabric is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified and made without added PFAS or harmful chemical treatments often found in most conventional activewear.

2. What is AHVA activewear made from?
Our signature fabric is made from 79% bamboo lyocell and 21% spandex.
The bamboo lyocell gives AHVA its beautifully soft, breathable feel, while the spandex provides the stretch, support and shape retention needed for performance activewear.
3. What makes AHVA a lower-tox activewear option?
We’ve intentionally chosen a fabric made predominantly from plant-derived bamboo lyocell rather than relying predominantly on polyester or nylon.
Our fabric is also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, so you can feel more confident about what you’re wearing against your skin.
4. What does OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified mean?
It means our certified textile has been independently tested against strict limits for more than 1,000 harmful substances.
For us, it’s another layer of reassurance that the fabric sitting against your skin has been made with more considered standards.
5. If AHVA is plant-based, why does it contain 21% spandex?
Because we still want your activewear to perform.
Spandex provides the stretch, recovery, support and shape retention needed for leggings, shorts and bralettes to move with your body and hold their shape.
We’re transparent about the 21% because our goal isn’t perfection - it’s to use more plant-derived fibre while still creating activewear that actually performs.
6. Is AHVA plastic-free?
No - and we believe in being transparent about that.
AHVA contains 21% spandex to provide the stretch and performance required from activewear. The difference is that the majority of our signature fabric is 79% is bamboo lyocell.
As textile technology evolves, we’ll continue exploring ways to reduce our reliance on synthetic fibres without compromising performance.
7. Will AHVA hold up during sweaty workouts?
Absolutely. AHVA was designed to move.
Our fabric combines breathable bamboo lyocell with the stretch and support of spandex, making it suitable for Pilates, strength training, walking, running and everyday movement.
Soft enough for home. Strong enough for the gym.
8. Are the Lior Leggings squat-proof?
The Lior Leggings are designed for movement and training - from squats and lunges to Pilates and everyday wear.
They feature a supportive fit, no front seam and a flattering V-back. Choosing the correct size is important for the best coverage and performance.
9. How do I choose my size?

AHVA has a supportive, close-to-body fit and can feel slightly snug. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

10. How supportive are the bralettes?
Our bralettes are designed to provide comfortable support for everyday movement and workouts without feeling overly restrictive.
Support will vary depending on your bust size and the style you choose. If you have a fuller bust or are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up.
11. Can I wear AHVA for things other than working out?
Absolutely. We call it EveryWear for a reason.
AHVA is designed to take you from Pilates and strength training to coffee runs, travel, school drop-off and slow days at home.
It’s not just activewear. It’s EveryWear.
12. Where is AHVA made?
AHVA is an Australian-founded brand, thoughtfully designed in Adelaide, South Australia, and crafted by our trusted manufacturing partners in China.
We work closely with our production partners to prioritise quality, considered materials and attention to detail in every piece.
13. How should I care for my AHVA pieces?
Treat them gently and they’ll love you back.
Wash on a cool or cold gentle cycle and preferably line dry in the shade. Avoid tumble drying, excessive heat, harsh detergents and fabric softeners to help protect the fibres, stretch and shape of your AHVA pieces.
14. What is your returns policy?
If your AHVA piece isn’t quite right, unworn and eligible items can be returned within 14 days, subject to our Returns Policy.

15. Can I change my size or order details after ordering?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, email us as soon as possible at hello@ahvaeverywear.com.
We’ll always do our best to make the change before your order leaves us, although we can’t guarantee changes once an order has begun processing.
16. Do you offer free shipping within Australia?
Yes. We offer free Australian shipping on qualifying orders and selected promotions.
Current shipping offers and thresholds will be shown on our website and at checkout.
17. Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship internationally to New Zealand. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout.
Please note that international customers may be responsible for any applicable duties, taxes or import charges.
18. How long will my order take to arrive?
Australian orders usually arrive within approximately 3–7 business days after dispatch.
Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow your AHVA all the way to your doorstep.
19. Is your packaging sustainable?
We’ve chosen packaging with reducing unnecessary plastic and waste in mind, including compostable and recyclable options wherever possible.
